Xia Jun's Experiences in Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus Combined with Hypertension

糖尿病合并高血压疾病属于中医"眩晕""头痛"等范畴,对心血管系统有极强的危害性,被称为同源性疾病。其病机特点是本虚标实、虚实夹杂,以阴虚为本,阳亢为标,而肝肾亏虚是主因。糖尿病合并高血压疾病在临床上,有糖尿病发病在先,高血压发病在后;或高血压在先,糖尿病在后;或两者发病时间顺序不明显。夏军教授是北京市名中医,从事中医临床40余载,对多种临床疑难病症见解独到,尤其是对心血管病、糖尿病的治疗更是得心应手,治疗糖尿病合并心血管病经验独特。夏教授认为,糖尿病合并高血压,阴虚是基本病机,无论糖尿病和高血压发病时间上孰先孰后,纠正阴虚是二者共同的着眼点,以平益肝肾,使其阴平阳秘为治疗该病的重要环节。

Diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension is in the category of＂dizziness＂and＂headache＂in TCM and tremendously threatens the cardiovascular system. This disease is named as homologic disease. The pathogenesis of the disease is characterized as the deficiency in the primary,the excess in the secondary,mixture of the deficiency and excess,yin deficiency as the root cause and hyperactivity of yang as the symptom. The liver and kidney deficiency is the main causative factor of the disease. In clinic,diabetes mellitus occurs before hypertension,vise verse,or even without the apparent sequence of occurrence. Prof. Xia Jun is the famous TCM physician and has been engaged in clinical TCM practice for over forty years. Prof. Xia has the unique understandings on clinical difficult and intractable diseases,especially on the treatment of cardiovascular disease and diabetes as well as the unique experiences in diabetes mellitus complicated with cardiovascular disease.
