AP1000 pressurizer is supported vertically by 4 columns. After the first AP1000 pressurizer （Sanmen Unit 1） installation finished, the API000 designer Westinghouse issued a design change to the pressurizer support for reinforcement. This article briefly describes the reinforcement reason, construction step, construction difficulties and countermeasures.
