The objective of paper is to summary of Profibus and Foundation fieldbus technology in a well-known American engineering company＇s project,ABB DCS system AC800 x A adopted for industry service, multiple comparison subjects created,conclusion is why profibus PA is more economical solution for petrochemical industries.
