摘要
本论以村上春树《奇鸟行状录》以及莫言的《檀香刑》为文本分析对象,首先梳理了两部文本中"暴力"的表现以及内涵,指出作为"作者"的村上表面上似乎想要将施加于个人身体层面的"暴力"归结于意识形态层面的国家的"权力",但其实文本却表明,这种"暴力"不仅来自于现代的"体制恶",也来自于"人性恶",而《檀香刑》则更将这种"人性恶"带来的"暴力"表演上升到"审丑"的层面。本论结合雷蒙·威廉斯、鲍曼、高桥哲哉等的思想论著,从暴力与现代性、暴力与人性、暴力与女性几个方面,揭示了两个文本中表现的作为"暴力"根源的"体制恶"与"人性恶"的复杂关系,并进一步指出两位作者在此问题上的认识盲点和疏漏。
By exploring the manifestations and implications of violence in Haruki Murakami’sTheWind-upBirdChronicle and Mo Yan’sSandalwoodDeath, the paper is intended to illustrate that Haruki Murakami as a writer seems to attribute personal violence to the ideological power of the state, whereas his text itself shows that violence is not only the consequence of the corrupted state system but also the result of human evil. InSandalwoodDeath, Mo Yan elevates the violence brought by human evil to the level of appreciation. Taking into consideration the thoughts of Raymond Williams, Bauman and Takahashi Tetsuya, the paper analyses the relationships between violence and modernization, violence and human nature, and violence and women. The analysis reveals the complex relation of the corrupted state system and human evil. Through the analysis, the paper also points out the two writer’s insufifcient understanding of the issue.
