Research on the Present Situation of Primary School Students' English Extracurricular Classes

随着英语课外辅导机构的大量兴起,其作用不言而喻,但随之而来的问题也不容忽视。与学校的教育模式相比,课外辅导更加灵活,能满足不同学生的需要,同时,课外教育体系的发展并不完善,存在很多需要正视的问题。鉴于此,以问卷的形式对乌鲁木齐市某小学1—6年级的学生参加英语课外辅导班的现状进行调查和分析,在问题归纳的基础上,提出相应的改进的建议,以期有助于学生和家长更加理性地选择,以及课外辅导机构自身的不断完善。

Along with the rise of English extracurricular counseling agencies, their function is self-evident, but the ensuing problems should not be ignored. Compared with school education mode, the extracurricular course is more flexible and can meet the needs of different students. However, the development of the extracurricular education system is not perfect. There are a lot of problems which need to be solved. In the form of a questionnaire to students from grade 1-6 in a primary school, Urumqi, this article investigates and analyzes the present situation of the students who attend English extracurricular courses. Based on summarizing the problems, some suggestions are proposed in order to help students and parents make wiser choice and promote the continuous improvement of extracurricular classes.
