辞书以"词"作为解释对象,词目的选择将直接影响辞书的质量。对4本汉英中医类辞书中的"阴""阳"选词进行比较,可以得知它们在规范性、不可切分性及学科完整性3个方面依然有很多不足,难以满足用户的查阅需求。这给国内双语专科词典的编纂研究带来了进一步的启示。

Lemma has not only been the research object of dictionaries, but also deeply influenced their quality. By investigating the entries, yin and yang, in four Chinese - English traditional medicine diction- aries, the author finds out that they have some deficiencies in normativeness, non - splitness, and integrity. Through the study, the author attempts to make a contribution to the compiling of the specialized bilin- gual dictionaries.
