Equipment maintenance management is the important base in the production and management in modern pharmaceutical enterprises. There exists various problems which are not matched the development of enterprises in traditional equipment maintenance management mode. Thus original management mode is needed to change so as to adapt to market competition. As one advance equipment maintenance management mode, TPM can be hoped to play important role in equipment management in Chinese modern pharmaceutical enterprises, in this article, the connotation and potentiality of TPM were analyzed, and the method of implementing TPM in enterprises and the realizing aim were introduced. Then the concrete application of TPM in pharmaceutical enterprises was discussed, and relative scheme for the application of TPM was presented.
