摘要
语言学能(language aptitude),作为一种能力,虽不是二语习得的先决条件,但它可以影响学习者的学习速度和最终所能达到的语言水平,是造成二语习得个体差异的一个重要因素。本文介绍了语言学能的定义、组成部分、特点,进一步探讨了它对二语习得的影响及其对外语教学的启示。
Foreign language aptitude, a kind of ability,is not the prerequisite for second language acquisition, but it is a powerful indicator of the rate of L2 learning and ultimate level of attainment in L2 proficiency, which in part leads to the individual differences in I2 learning. The paper briefly introduces the foreign language aptitude, its components and characteristics, and focuses on its effects on SLA and its implications for English teaching.
