Research on the General Situation of English Translation for Tibetan Cultural Literature

在我国文化建设中,少数民族文化无疑是一个重要领域。其发展与传播对促进中国文化"走出去",提高我国文化软实力,起着重要作用。因而对少数民族文化文献英译概况的梳理和研究非常必要。本文聚焦极具代表性的藏民族文化文献的英译,搜集和整理藏族文化有关文献的英译资料,并进行分类,分析其特点和规律,并对问题提出解决方法。

In China＇s cultural construction, the minority national-ity culture is undoubtedly an important field. Its development and spread plays an important role in promoting the＂going global＂of Chinese culture and improving the soft power of Chinese culture. So it is necessary to summarize and research the general situation of English translation for Tibetan cultural literature. Focusing on the highly typical one, the English translation for Tibetan cultural literature, this paper collected and rearranged relevant English translation materials involving Tibetan culture, classified them, analyzed their characteristics and rules, and proposed methods to solve the existing problems.
