思南教育从宋朝到至今,穿越了漫长的历史岁月,从儒学传播到新时期教育方针的贯彻落实,提升了当地的人文精神,培养了大批有用人才,为国家做出了重大贡献,尤其是当今思南教育,坚持"两条腿走路"的办学理念,从应试教育向素质教育的转变,出现了一派生机勃勃的景象,并为穷县也能办大教育积累了丰富的办学经验。

From the Song Dynasty to the present day, the Education in Sinan has a history of long standing, from spreading Confucianism to implementing educational principles nowadays, having ad- vanced the humanity spirit of the local people, cultivated a large quantity of useful talents, and made great contribution to the country. Especially, the present education in Sinan adheres to running school in ＂dual ways＂, making changes from test- oriented education to quality-oriented one, with which there has appeared a flourishing vision, thus accumulating rich school running experience for big education in a poor county.
