辜鸿铭《论语》英译本的生态翻译学解读

An Interpretation of the English Version of The Analects of Confucius by Ku Hungming from the Perspective of Eco-translatology

《论语》体现了中国传统文化的精髓,然而《论语》各英译本庞杂繁芜,影响了其在世界的传播。阐述了辜鸿铭《论语》英译本的产生背景,并从生态翻译学的角度予以解析,发现其无论是对译本的选择还是对当时翻译生态环境的适应,以及翻译实践中具体策略的多维选择与适应,皆印证了生态翻译学对翻译现象的解释力与指导力,这也为中国经典作品在西方有效译介与传播提供了些许启示。

The Analects of Confucius reflects the essence of traditional Chinese culture and it is world-famous.However,its translated versions in English are varied and mixed,which has impaired its spread in western countries.This article analyses the background of the English version by Ku Hungming from the perspective of eco-translatology,expounds the combination of selected translation,ecological adaptation,multiple strategies,and manipulation of eco-translatology in the translation,and provides some reference for the English translation of some Chinese classics.
