Ways for the New Generation Peasant Workers to Realize Decent Work

体面劳动和就业环境密切相连。新生代农民工应努力争取获得体面工作岗位的机会,并在工作之中努力维护自身的各项合法权益,实现体面工作。为此,政府应通过完善就业服务、更新就业观念、加强技能培训等提升新生代农民工的就业机会;通过规范用工管理、加强人文关怀、畅通维权渠道等措施改善工作环境,切实维护新生代农民工合法权益,促进新生代农民工体面劳动的逐步实现。

Decent work is closely related to the employment environment. The new generation peasant workers strive for the opportunity of decent jobs, as well as protect their lawful right, to realize decent work. For this purpose, government should improve employment service, renew their employment concept and help them to get more employment opportunities by strengthening training program. To realize this goal, a standard management is required and at the same time the workers＇ lawful right should be protected.
