计算机应用基础作为高职一门大类基础课，高职学院很多不同专业都开设了这门课程。但在实际教学中，效果并不是很理想。因为计算机基础是理论和实践紧密结合的课程，理论知识的掌握都要通过实际操作体现出来。很多学生甚至没有接触过计算机，在结束本周的课程后，下周开始上课时很多知识都已经忘记了。同时，因为教学时间较为分散，一些教学任务无法持续进行。因此，对计算机应用基础的教学采用项目化教学方法是一种趋势。
