Identifying Radical Innovations under the Perspective of Competitive Intelligence

摘要 突破性创新是产业技术升级、社会生产力进步的重要推动力,是实现创新型国家战略的基石。首先对突破性创新的重要概念进行深入剖析,夯实研究的立论基础。根据竞争情报研究的定量化要求,将突破性创新分为原始型突破性创新、跃迁型突破性创新、跨界型突破性创新三类;基于专利数据,设计了突破性创新的技术创新强度、市场破坏程度的定量识别方法。提出应围绕突破性创新布局企业竞争情报工作。 Radical innovation is not only an important driving force both for industry technical upgrading and development of social pro-ductivity, but also the foundation to realize innovation-oriented country strategy. At the beginning, an elaborated comparison of radical in-novations and related concepts was conducted to lay a theoretical basis. Next, according to the requirement of quantitative study in compet-itive intelligence, radical innovations were divided into three types: original radical innovation, transition radical innovation, and trans-boundary radical innovation. Methods to measure technical innovation degree and market stealing degree of radical innovations were de-signed based on patent data. Finally, several suggestions for competitive intelligence practice improvement with a focus on radical innova-tion were put forward.
