"充其量"在魏晋南北朝至宋时期是个动宾词组,后由动宾词组逐渐凝固成表示"往大里说"的惯用语,至清代词汇化为一个表主观小量的语气副词。"充其量+VP"结构是一个具有"让步"意味的紧缩结构,其主观小量义是与隐含的心理参照量比较而产生的。"充其量"是个主观化程度较高的语气副词,其句法位置比较靠前。

And its subjective minor quantity emerged after it was compared with the implicit psychological referential quantity. ＂Chong Qi liang＂ is an adverb of mood that has high degree of subjectivization. And its syntactic position is in the front.
