摘要 科研素质是大学英语教师提高教学质量的关键,也是大学英语课程建设与发展的关键。大学英语教师科研意识淡薄,知识结构不合理,教学任务重,教学内容机械重复,不仅制约了教师自身的全面发展,而且制约了大学英语教学质量的整体提升。大学英语教师科研素质的提升是一项系统工程,可以通过借鉴其他国家的成功经验,改革现行的管理体制和评价机制,以及大学英语教师积极探索新的科研路径来实现。 The academic research quality is a key factor for college English teachexs to improve their teaching and for the development of college English. College English teachers' low scientific research consciousness,imbalanced knowledge structure,heavy teaching load and tedious teaching contents have restricted not only their own overall development but also the integral enhancement of the teaching quality. It is a systematic project to improve the acadaTtic research quality of college English teachers, which requires that we should learn from successful experience of other countries,reform the current management system and the evaluation mechanism.Furthermore,college English teachers should explore new paths to do academic research as well.
