摘要 近年求,伴随着中国城市化进程的飞速发展以及人们对生活质量要求的提高,城市雕塑建设数量和规模不断增长,城市雕塑专业人才需求旺盛.除重点美术院校的雕塑系外,陆续有建筑、园林、景观、环境艺术等方面的院校也开办了雕塑或与雕塑相关的专业.办学规模和招生人数迅速扩大,使得雕塑专业结构有较大的变化,教学改革也不断深入.但是作为一门专业来看,特别是与其他老牌专业相比,城市雕塑教学明显透出不成熟与不完善. Currently, the word "crossover" is very popular, it represents a combination between brand-new life attitudes and aesthetical methods. The key significance of crossover is to stimulate the mutual penetration and mutual fusion among the separated areas and elements, then to promote the spiritual and physical areas to indicate sense of depth, stereoscopic impression and vertical feeling. As a kind of art form that include practical and artistic elements, design is a sort of creative methods that let the different art forms own the different art styles, more or less, design elements is shown in many productions and processes of making objects. Specifically, in the sculpture area, design is represented in many aspects like creative ideas, expressive methods, existent forms and so on. This issue includes some articles that contain the researches about the "crossover" relationship between sculpture and design,in order to create the interactive communication among many art areas.
