摘要
网络流行语指网络上流行的语言,是网民们约定俗成的表达方式;是一段时间内人们普遍使用的语言;是特定时间段内社会热点和社会心态的反映。隐喻是人类认识世界和进行交际的重要认知手段和思维方式;是从始源域到目标域的映射,两个域之间相似性是隐喻映射的基本要素。从认知隐喻角度分析流行语隐喻语义映射机制和语义泛化,揭示隐喻在流行语流行过程中的运作机制,为流行语产生和迅速传播提供认知基础。
Network catchwords is also referred as the popular language of internet . It is the widely used customary expression by internet citizens. They are the reflections of hot social issues and psychology. As an important cognitive means for human conceptualization and communication, metaphor establishes mapping from source domain onto target domain on the similarity of some of the elements of two concepts in the respective domain. This paper adopts a cognitive metaphorical approach to the network catchwords by exploring met- aphorical mapping mechanism and semantic generalization of catchwords, to discover the working mechanism of metaphor in the process of popularity of catchwords, and to provide the cognitive ground for the spread of catchwords.
