摘要
本研究是英语专业《综合英语》课堂教学实施CBI主题教学模式一项实证性研究。研究选取海南大学2011级经贸英语方向两个自然班作为实验组,实施CBI主题教学,经过20个周的教学实验后,实验数据分析结果表明,CBI主题教学模式对《综合英语》课堂教学效果产生正面影响,与对照组相比,实验组学生英语水平得到较为明显提高;此外CBI主题教学模式对学生学习过程也产生积极作用,增强了学生学习兴趣及参与课堂教学活动愿望。
This study investigates the effect of application of theme-based model of Content-based Instruction on Integrated English teaching for English majors. Two classes were randomly selected to be the ex- perimental group. After 20 weeks of teaching experiment, data findings indicate that theme-based model has a positive influence on both the effect of Integrated English teaching and students' learning process.
