选择生长健壮的成年植株采种,采用苗圃场育苗方法,对老虎刺1年生苗的生长规律进行了初步研究。控制杂草、水肥管理和病虫防治可提高老虎刺实生苗苗木质量。老虎刺1年生实生苗苗高平均为17.48cm,最高为31.2cm,最低为9.5cm;地径平均为4.48mm,最高为5.59mm,最低为2.99mm。2年生苗苗高平均为120.53cm,最高为235.6cm,最低为30.6cm;地径平均为10.62mm,最高为20.93mm,最低为4.22mm。

For cultivation of the seedlings of Pterolobium punctatum Hemsl. , seeds were collected from the robust mother trees and sowed at the nurser）,, with weeding, watering, fertilization, and pest control as the regular management measures.
