On the Promoting Role of Xia Cheng-tao—Chen Si's Friendship for Development of Ci-ology

词学大家夏承焘交谊广泛,他在词学研究上的成绩,除了自己的努力之外,很大程度上得益于与词学前辈及同辈的互相切磋。夏承焘与陈思的交往,一方面提升了夏承焘的学术视野,另一方面夏承焘也不遗余力地帮助陈思。两者之间的交谊,推进了白石研究。

Xia Cheng-tao owned widespreadly friendship .And his achievements in ci-ology were mainly due to mu-tual acdemic exchange with predecessors and peers , besides his own efforts .His friendship with Chen Si＇s enlarged his academic vision and Xia spareded no effort to help Chen Si as well .Their friendship was advancing the study of Bai Shi .
