摘要
采用了问卷的方法,调查分析了常州市普通高中和普通高校的英语教学现状,揭示影响大学与高中英语教学衔接的因素,对大学英语教学提出了相应的对策。研究发现,影响衔接的因素有:(1)大学英语教师不了解高中英语教学;(2)教材脱节或重复;(3)课程设置差异不明显;(4)教学方法雷同;(5)教学测试都忽视对口语的考查。本研究提出的相应对策是:(1)提高教师教学水平;(2)对教材作删减或补充;(3)完善课程设置;(4)改进教学方法;(5)考查英语综合应用能力。
Questionnaires and interviews were conducted to investigate and analyze the current situation of senior high school and college English teaching in Changzhou,reveal the factors affecting the transition from senior English to college English teaching,and propose relative solutions for the college English teaching.It is found out that the affecting factors includes:1)College teachers have no idea of the senior English teaching;2)There is disconnection or repetition in teaching materials;3)There is no clear differences in course design;4) Teaching methods are similar;5) Teaching tests neglect to test students′spoken English.Based on this,the relative solutions are raised.They are:1)improving the teaching level;2)deleting or adding the teaching mate-rial;3)perfecting the course design;4)promoting the teaching method;and 5)testing the student ability to use language in a well-rounded way.
