The development of Big Data Industry not only conforms to the national informative development strategy, but also exploits the comparative advantage of Guiyang. Having discussed the basic concept and features of the Big Data industry, this article analyzes the significance, basic practice and challenges faced in the relevant field and explores the development route of such industry.
