《中国共产党党校工作条例》规定:"党校是培养党员领导干部和理论干部的学校,是党委的重要部门,是党的哲学社会科学研究机构,是党委和政府科学决策的思想库。"要充分发挥党校的职能作用,必须全面深化改革,打造一流的教学科研、一流的人才队伍、一流的管理水平和一流的校风学风,积极服务地方经济社会发展大局。

Party schools, as regulated in the Party School Working Regulation of the CPC, are the school where leading cadres and theoretical talents in the CPC are educated, the important department subordinated to the Committee of the CPC, the research institution on philosophy and social sciences of the Party and the think tanks to the Party and government.
