The digital transition of traditional academic journals will face the problem of copyright obtaining the digital copyright. This paper analyzes the current status of the digital copyright in the transition of academic journals, and probes into the paths for obtaining the digital copyright in the transition of academic journals including the establishment of the concept of“fulfilling the authorization before conducting the transmission”, the cooperation with the copyright collective management organization, the creation of different digital copyright authorization models, and the development of journals’ professional cluster, etc.
