多模态视角解读英汉视觉诗歌

On Visual Poetry from a Multimodal Perspective

传统诗歌通过文字表达诗人的思想感情,视觉诗不拘泥于文字一种表达方式,它是通过文字、符号等一系列的排列组合给人带来特殊视觉效果的诗篇。汉语视觉诗从西方发展而来,但又有自身的特点,分析诗歌离不开其自身的文化背景,同时,基于系统功能语言学的多模态话语分析又为欣赏视觉诗提供了新的方法,可以更全面地从形、音、义角度理解视觉诗歌。

Traditional poems express its poet＇s thoughts and feelings only through words and characters, while the visual poem, a creative form combing poetry and painting, brings visual forces to readers. Although Chinese visual poem learns from the west, it has its own features. Therefore, analyzing a poem must be initially based on its own cultural background. Furthermore, muhimodal discourse analysis, which is developed from the theoretical framework of Halliday＇ s functional linguistics, provides us a new way to appreciate those visual poems.
