摘要
评价理论作为语篇分析或话语分析的重要工具,主要关注语篇中可以协商的态度。以评价理论及其三个子系统为依据分析保定市旅游宣传材料的人际意义,可以看出保定市旅游宣传材料中的评价意义丰富,能够突出景点和人文遗产的特色并对听众/读者形成一定的冲击,但在评价手段、评价对象及读者/听众定位方面不够明确,影响了宣传效果。
As an important tool for text analysis or discourse analysis, appraisal theory focuses on different attitudinal meanings negotiated in texts. This paper adopts the theory as its working framework, digs into the specific appraisal meanings and re sources displayed in the tourism publicity materials of Baoding. It is found that despite the significant impact brought by the rich appraisal meanings conveyed, those materials are devoid of varied appraisal devices, a clear manifestation of the appraised, and most importantly, they are short of a clear orientation of potential readers or travelers.
