The idea of classified discussion is a kind of important mathematical thought in middle school mathematics. In this paper,we first describes the meaning of the idea of classified discussion,and then detailedly analysis the applications of the idea of classified discussion in high school mathematical problem solving through several important modules in the high school mathematics.
