The emergency of many post-modern theories, such as Deconstrnctionism, Feminism and Post-colonialism marked the cultural turn of translation. As one typical representation, Spivak and her "politics of translation" help translation get rid of linguistic shackles in the traditional studies to step into the conflicts, communication and interaction among different cultures. And "voice of the Other" and its position which have been ignored for a long time began to gain much attention. Analyzing Spivak's "politics of translation" from several perspectives, and uncovering its hidden ethical orientation in translation, i.e. "the Other" ethic, will have instructive meaning for the translators.
