Synthesis and properties of urea-formaldehyde microcapsules for unsaturated polyester resin curing

摘要 以热固性脲醛树脂为壁材,过氧化辛酸酯为芯材,原位聚合法制得粉末状脲醛微胶囊。采用傅里叶红外光谱仪、扫描电镜、透射电镜等对其结构和形貌进行了分析和表征,并利用DSC研究了微胶囊的耐热性及与不饱和聚酯树脂的固化行为。结果表明:合成的微胶囊形貌致密且完整,通过调节原料配比、pH值和转速可以改变微胶囊的熔点。研究微胶囊的固化过程可以发现其对芯材具有保护功能。 The powdered urea-formaldehyde microcapsules with thermosetting urea-formaldehyde resin wall and peroxy octanoate core were prepared by situ polymerization method. The structure and morphology of microcapsules were analyzed and characterized by FTIR,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The heat resistance of microcapsules and curing behavior with unsaturated polyester resin were investigated by DSC. The results showed that the synthesized microcapsules had dense and complete morphology and their melting point could be adjusted by the ratio of raw materials, pH value and the rotational speed. It could be found that the microcapsule had a protective function on its core by the research of microcapsule curing process.
