先秦典籍中,由于《左传》注重记载风俗民情,从而为后人探究先秦礼制提供了宝贵资料。《左传》记录了春秋时期丧葬制度与具体礼仪,其关于治丧礼仪和殡葬礼仪的记载虽然分散于各国历史事件中却但其涉及的丧葬习俗比较丰富,呈现着"合礼"与"非礼"的交织存在。

The Annals of Zuo laid stress on recording custom in the ancient books and records before qin dynasty,which can provide very valuable information to research the etiquette system in the pre - Qin period for futurities. The Annals of Zuo recor- ded the funeral custom and etiquette in the Spring and Antunn Period. The recordation about the funeral service etiquette was dispersed in the events from many countries but it was full of quite rich funeral custom . It could reflect the coexistence of deco- rum and indecorum very well.
