Pasternak adopted a kind of unique religious narrative dimension in the novel Doctor Zhivago which is a kind of transcendent dimension and it abandoned the utility principle in human society. Standing to the opposite position, the author reviews the human activities and spirits and souls with the intuitive knowledge and religious point of view. The novel has revealed the real religious spirits in： traditional Russian intellectuals through Doctor Zhivago＇ s analysis of his own soul and pursuit of final value in life and this is the great inheritance and I development of literary spirits of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy from Pasternak and authors who insist on the religious spirit in literature of Soviet Union.
