Huizhou Dialect Words and Folk Culture

徽州是极具文化特色的区域之一,民风淳朴,其方言别具一格,承载了众多民俗事象。研究其与民俗文化的关系,对于研究和传承徽州文化具有重要意义。徽州方言中表达空间方位、饮食和宗教信仰的词汇无不体现浓厚的徽州民俗民风,尤其是在构成方言词语的理据上,与民俗文化有着割不断的联系。通过对这些方言词汇与民俗关系的梳理,为方言词汇的理据研究提供有益借鉴,也为当地旅游资源的开发提供思路。

Its people being simple and honest and its dialects being unique loaded with various folklore matters, Huizhou is one of the regions characterized by its rich culture. This paper studies the relationship between Huizhou dialects and the folk culture, which is of great significance for the study and inheritance of Huizhou culture. Huizhou dialect words denoting spatial orientation, diet, religious belief and the like reflect Huizhou folk customs, and the motivation of dialect words in particular has a strong connection with folk culture. By reviewing the relationship between these dialect words and folk customs, the paper aims to provide references for the study of the motivation of dialect words and ideas for the exploitation of local tourism resources.
