Effect of Carboxylic Acid on CaCO_3 Polymorph

摘要 分别用2,2'-联苯二酸(bpdca)和1,2,4,5-苯四酸(btca)作为调控剂合成Ca CO3,使用XRD、FT-IR和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)研究了羧酸对Ca CO3晶型和形貌的影响。结果表明,2,2'-联苯二酸和1,2,4,5-苯四酸作为调节剂对Ca CO3晶型都会有影响,一定条件下合成得到的是方解石和球霰石的混合物,显示出羧酸对球霰石的生成具有促进作用。 Micron-meter CaCO3 particles with different morphologies and crystal structures were prepared using 2,2 ’-biphenyldicarboxylic acid( bpdca) and 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid( btca) as adjusting reagents. The influence of carboxylic acid on CaCO3 morphology,polymorph were studied by Xray diffraction,FT-IR and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that bpdca and btca affect on the morphology and polymorph of CaCO3 and is in favor of the form of vaterite.
