位于上海西岸文化走廊北端的龙美术馆是大舍建筑设计事务所今年完成的一个重要项目。对于艺术品市场而言,这是私人藏品以惊人尺度和规模进入公众的视野。对于上海滨江地带的再开发而言,这个项目所具有的牵动力将在未来逐步显现。而对于成立已逾十载的大舍建筑设计事务所而言,龙美术馆的落成既是过去努力的总结又是新的起始点。本文所记录的正是主创建筑师在这一项目背后所付出的辛勤劳动和汗水。
Located at the northern tip of West Bund Culture-Industrial Corridor, the newly completed Long Museum this year proves to be a significant project, for both the client, who as private collector of antiques and artworks, to show their massive collections in such an impressive structure, and Shanghai City itself, which relies upon this kind of key project, to push forward the redevelopment of the old industrial zone along the Huangpu River. For sure, this complex also takes Atelier Deshaus, the architectural firm responsible for the project, with already a decade long history, to a new level of competence.
