《文心雕龙·时序》是刘勰阐述"文学是随着时代变化而变化"的文学发展规律的篇章。文章对有争议之处提出了个人见解,即"梗概"有大概、耿介、慷慨三个含义,《文心雕龙·时序》中"故梗概而多气也"的"梗概"应解为"慷慨";"尽其美者何,乃心乐而声泰也"中"何"属上句。

LIU Xie proposed the idea that“literature changes with time” in“The Literary Mind and The Carving of Dragons· Sequence”.The Chinese word “genggai” has three mean-ings.In “The Literary Mind and The Carving of Dragons·Sequence”,“genggai” should mean“generous”,while the Chinese word“he” should be taken as an element in the pre-text.
