苏珊·朗格符号美学思想的基本依据来自卡西尔的符号形式哲学。苏珊·朗格在吸收、整理现有的理论精髓的基础上,结合新的方法论论述了整个艺术系统,并因此创造了一种独特的艺术符号美学。苏珊·朗格所说的艺术符号就是"表现性形式",它是苏珊·朗格美学的核心概念,苏珊·朗格指出了艺术作为符号的独特性,所谓艺术,就是"人类情感的感性形式呈现"。情感、幻象、直觉都是表现性形式的重要组成部分。
Semiotics esthetics thought of Susanne K.Longer is basic on the Cassirer＇s philosophy of symbolic form. On the basis of absorption and finishing the existing theory essence, Susanne K.Longer has discussed the art system by new methodology, and thus created a unique artistic symbolic aesthetics. Susanne K.Longer said art symbol is a kind of ＂expressive form＂ which is the core of Susan＇ s aesthetic. Susanne K.Longer has pointed out the uniqueness of art as a symbol, Art is ＂the perceptual form of human emotions＂. Emotion, illusion, intuition are important parts of expressive form.
