摘要
玄奘法师到达高昌国的具体时间,依据玄奘本人所述、唐人所记及西行日程考订,应在唐贞观三年(629)六月中。法师在高昌国停留四十余日,受到高昌王麴文泰及王室虔诚的礼拜和供奉,麴文泰欲强行挽留、玄奘绝食以抗,终以麴文泰让步允其西行而结为兄弟,约定开坛讲经一月后西行,求法归来在王国停住三年。八月初玄奘离别高昌,麴文泰倾国力以相助,为法师准备了二十年往返行资,度四沙弥侍候左右,给西行沿途各国王修书,请其厚待迎送,还专派殿中侍御史欢信为护送特使,一直陪同护送至叶护可汗牙帐。此后玄奘一路顺利到达印度,并周游诸佛国,全赖高昌王麴文泰相助之功。
According to my research, the time that Master Hsuan - tsang reached to Qocho Kingdom should be in the Middle of June, the third year of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty. Master Hsuan - tsang stayed in Qocho Kingdom for more than forty days, and he was worshiped by the king Qu Wentai 麴文泰 and his royal members, at that time, Qu Wentai forced master to stay, while Hsuan - tsang resisted by fasting, finally Qu had to give up and became sworn brothers to let Master Hsuan-tsang go west. They made an appoint that Mater could continue his travel after preaching for a month and needed to stay in Qocho Kingdom for three years in his arrival. At the beginning of August, Hsuan - tsang left Qocho Kingdom ; Qu Wentai paved the way to his destination for Master Hsuan -tsang, and arranged the special envoy to accompany him to Yabghu Khaghan ＇ s residence. After that, Hsuan - tsang successfully arrived in India, and travel around Buddha kingdom, which all relied on kinds of assistances from the king Qu Wen-tai.
