Acute fatty liver of pregnancy is a severe liver dysfunction complication in pregnancy. Plasma exchange is a new therapy for acute fatty liver of pregnancy. This article introduces mechanism, indication, process and warning of plasma exchange, aiming to increase the medical staff＇s awareness of plasma exchange in acute fatty liver of pregnancy.
