摘要
迈克尔·阿普尔(Michael W.Apple)教授出生在一个贫穷家庭,伴随着对社会上的种种不公平所产生的愤怒长大。他认为,知识分子的活动是一种投身于真实生活,饱含着情绪和认知的活动。愤怒是其中的一种情绪,它与希望同在,是很多东西的混合体。早期的生活经历、对社会现实的持续关注和对大学责任的期许可以保持着一个人的愤怒。在教育领域,愤怒的使命是要持续地发出促进社会公平,改变不公平的社会现实的呼吁,激发实际的行动,理论用之于现实。每一个知识分子,都是劳动者,无论是写书还是教学还是做其他事情,都要关注社会良心。而未来的批判教育学要做真正的批判性工作,根据社会现实而发展自己的理论。
Professor Micheal W. Apple was born in a poor family, and grew with anger based on inequality. For him, academic work is a kind of cognitive activity full of emotions based on real life. Anger is one of the emotions, together with hope, mixed with many other emotions. Former life experience, constant caring about social reality and hope for university' s commitment, can keep the anger alive all the time. In education, the mission of anger is to call on social justice, change social inequality, and push social activities forward to keep theories being with real life. Every intellectual is a labor who cares about the social conscience in writing, teaching and other activities. Critical pedagogy studies in the future should do real critical work and develop their theories according to the social change.
