试论红山文化内涵及相关词汇翻译

On the Connotation of Hongshan Culture and the Related Vocabulary Translation

红山文化是华夏五千年文明的一颗明珠,是中国北疆地区比较早的一种史前文化遗存。同时,红山文化在世界文明史上也有着极其重要的地位。人们透过研究红山文化,能够深层次地了解红山先民史前的生产力发展水平、社会制度、物质文明、人们的信仰和祭祀活动等多个层面;同时对外宣扬红山文化,推动文化旅游和提高其知名度都有着重要意义。然而人们对红山文化的翻译研究却起步很晚,对红山文化缺少全面的认识和了解,尤其对某些专业术语的翻译已成为红山文化英译中一大障碍。

Hongshan culture is a bright Pearl of China＇s 5,000-year civilization, is one of the China＇s Xinjiang region early prehistoric cultural relics. Meanwhile, Hongshan culture also plays an important role in the history of world civilization. People through the study of Hongshan culture, ancestors of the Red Hills to develop a deeper understanding of productivity, social system, level of development of material civilization in prehistory, people＇s beliefs and ceremonies, and many also propagates the Hongshan culture, promote cultural tourism and enhancing its visibility is of great significance. Yet translation studies of the Hongshan culture had started very late and lack of comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Hong-shan culture, especially the translation of certain technical terms has become an obstacle to the English translation of the Hongshan culture..
