Citizen reconstruction in the risk society: reflections and solutions

在全球化、个体化以及地方化的影响下,转型社会进入了一个风险再生产的情境之中。风险社会中的公民存在着认知和行动上的悖论。民族国家中的公民传统,即私人自由、国家赋权以及组织控制等,存在着各种困境。要走出风险社会,就必须塑造一种新型的公民模式,这种新型公民模式想象力的关键理念是合作互动。需要从功能性关系、再嵌入多元共同体结构和建构合作文化的角度来理解公民的合作互动。

Influenced by globalization, individualization and localization, the transitional society has entered a riskreproduced situation. Citizens in the risk society share a paradox of cognition and action. Citizens’ traditions in the state,such as private freedom, national empowerment and organizational control, have been rendered in trouble. Therefore, itis necessary to build a new model for citizens to get out of the risk society. And the key concept of imagination of thisnew citizens’ model is cooperative interaction. To understand the citizens’ cooperative interaction, we need to adoptsuch following perspectives as functional relationships, embedding a multiple community structure and building acooperative culture.
