摘要 在当今全球化、信息化的时代背景下,工程科技的发展水平体现着一国的核心竞争力。自改革开放以来,我国高等工程教育取得了很大成绩,表现为教育规模快速扩张,教育结构发生积极变化,教育投入大幅提高,教育质量有所提高,教育教学改革在积极开展,国际合作在不断推进。同时,我国工程教育也存在着一些问题,如供需之间存在矛盾、学校发展目标与模式趋同化、教学中缺乏实践环节、教学体系不适应工程特点、创新与创业教育重视不足、学生综合能力素质薄弱。未来将多管齐下,改善上述不足,提高我国工程教育的质量。 In this globalization and information era, the level of engineering technology represents a country's core competitiveness. Since the adoption of the policy of reform and opening up, China's higher engineering education has made great achievements, as evidenced by the rapid expansion of the edu- cation scale, positive changes in the education structure, substantial increases in the education investment, improvement in the education quality, reform of the education, and continuous advancement of international cooperation. Meanwhile, however, China's engineering education also faces some challenges, such as the mismatch between demand and supply, similarity of development goals and modes among different universities, lack of practicums, teaching systems not suited to the engineering practices, not enough emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship, and lack of attention to students' overall development. Efforts will need to be made in various ways to address the problems and improve the Chinese engineering education.
