"文化"一词,一直以来都是一个经久不衰的话题.对于设计领域,甚至一个国家的发展都起到了至关重要的作用,那么何为文化?又何为中国文化呢?明式家具体现了我们中国文化的博大精深,从明式家具中的造型、材料、结构、工艺等手段中反射出中国文化的内涵,可以说中国的传统文化造就了明式家具的诞生。因此,我们应立足于本国的传统文化,正确理解中西差异,对优秀的文化传统做出新的阐述,用现代的设计思维对文化元素进行重构。

The word ＂culture＂ has always been an enduring topic, and the design field and even a country＇s development has played a vital role, so what is culture？What is Chinese culture？Bright type furniture shows us the extensive and profound Chinese culture, from the bright type furniture modelling, the material, structure, process, and other means to reflect the connotation of Chinese culture, to say the Chinese traditional culture led to the birth of bright type furniture.Therefore, we should base on the country＇s traditional culture, understanding differences between Chinese and western, the excellent cultural tradition, make new cultural elements in modem design thug refactoring.
