摘要
受传统金石学"重文轻图"式研究的影响,古代印学家在很长一段时期里忽视了对肖形印的研究。直到清末,一些学者才开始逐步关注这类极富历史、艺术与审美价值的印章。本文是关于黄宾虹对肖形印研究的一个梳理与总结,认为黄氏对肖形印研究的贡献主要表现在四个方面:其一,改变了肖形印的地位,肯定了肖形印的价值;其二,探索了肖形印的起源;其三,论述了肖形印的功能;其四,总结了肖形印的题材内容和艺术风格。黄氏开启了肖形印研究之门,对肖形印的价值予以充分肯定,对后来的研究者影响深远。
Influenced by value-scripts-belittle-graphs study encouraged by traditional epigraphy. It wasn' t until the end of Qing Dynasty that some scholars gradually showed concern about this sort of seals with historical, artistic and aesthetic significance. This paper attempts to straighten out and conclude Huang's research on pictorial seals by listing his devotion in four aspects: 1. Enhance its status and recognize its value; 2. Explore its origin; 3. State its application; 4. Sum up its content and artistic style. Huang launched the research journey on pictorial seals and had a profound impact on later pursuers.
