外资区域转移与地区城镇化发展的相互关系——基于江苏省主要城市的实证研究

Interaction between FDI and Development of Urbanization:An Empirical Study of Major Cities in Jiangsu Province

作为发展中大国,外资将在相当长时间内对我国包括城镇化发展在内的经济生活产生重要影响。本文根据外资大省江苏省特有的苏南、苏中、苏北经济发展水平悬殊的特征,以苏南苏中苏北的13个主要城市为研究对象,探讨外资区域转移、集聚和城镇化的相互关系,通过对不同层次地区城镇化增长中水平贡献和迁移贡献的分解从理论和实证的角度探讨FDI与城镇化相互作用的机理及地区差异。研究结果表明,江苏省内部存在外资区域转移的现象,FDI与江苏省城镇化发展存在良性互动关系,苏南、苏中、苏北外商投资与城镇化的相互关系存在差异,外资促进了江苏省城镇化的发展。

As a large developing country, China will see its economic activities including urbanization heavily impacted by foreign capital in quite a long time. According to the special characteristics of the southern, central, and northern regions of Jiangsu province, this paper analyzes ,the interaction mechanism and the relationship between regional transtbr of FDI and urbanization in Jiangsu from the theoretical and empirical perspective by decomposing the urbanization growth of the region into ＂level contribution＂ and ＂migration contribution＂. The research results confirm the presence of foreign regional transfer phenomena in Jiangsu and a positive interactive relationship between FDI and urbanization, but the relationship varies among the southern, central, and northern regions of Jiangsu province. Generally, FDI has promoted the development of urbanization in Jiangsu Province.
