Literary Writing of Kunming's Image

20世纪80年代以来,昆明在文学书写中主要呈现为三种形象:抗战时期的故乡、新时期的栖息地和新世纪的传奇之城。它们的逻辑结构呈现为"昆明是什么""昆明在怎样"和"昆明将要成为什么"。抗战时期的故乡指向抗战时期的昆明,是对昆明历史的思考与怀旧;新时期的栖息地指向现在的昆明,是对昆明正在经历的变化之反映,新世纪的传奇之城是由昆明历史出发的对未来的一种期待。与这三种形象相关的是怀旧、日常生活和传记式三种书写方式,它们都是对昆明认同的一种话语塑造或表意实践。

Since 1980s, Kunming has been represented as three kinds of images in literature writing： the hometown during the Anti - Japanese War, the habitat in the new period and the legendary city in the new century, which correspond to the questions of ＂what is Kunming＂, ＂what is Kunming being＂ and ＂what will Kunming be＂. The hometown during the Anti - Japanese refers to Kunming during the Anti -Japanese, which is a nostalgia of the history of the city; the habitat in the new period today＇s Kun- ming, which is a reflection of the change of what is happening in the city; the legendary city in the new century Kunming＇s fu- ture, which is a kind of expectation to the city＇s future starting from the history. The three images are related to three kinds of writing mode： nostalgia, daily life and biography,which are the discourse construction or signifying practice of Kunming identity.
