The way of yin-yang is the metaphysical foundation of Jing Fang's I Ching learning. The thought of five-elements is the bridge via which the way of yin-yang unfurls itself in the real-life lay and embodies good or ill luck. The way of yin-yang as the invisible "nothing" exhibits itself in the " being" of astronomical phenomena by the thought of five-elements. Jing Fang developed the thought of interaction of heaven and man, which was put forward by Dong Zhongshu. So abundant Yi-ology and humane solicitude are expressed in the thought of Jing Fang.
