教育中的几个基本问题

Several Basic Issues in Education

文章针对我国教育的现实弊端,首先从教育的根本使命上分析了大学的三大任务教学、研究和服务的关系,指出育人是中心任务,其他任务的开展必须围绕这个中心;在此基础上,讨论了培养精英还是全体学生等培养对象问题,以及做人(博雅教育)和做事(专业教育)等培养目标问题。

This paper is based on the weaknesses of education in China. To begin with, the relationship among the three tasks of universities teaching, researching and serving is analyzed from the perspective of the fundamental mission of education, suggesting that cultivating talents is the core part and other tasks should support it. Then, the object of cultivation is discussed, that is, whether it should be elitists or all the students. Furthermore, the targets of education such as how to behave （liberal arts） and how to work （professional education） are expounded here.
