摘要
近年来兴起的对左翼维也纳学派的研究,主要集中在逻辑经验主义的政治学维度上。要深入理解左翼维也纳学派,须重新发现纽拉特的科学政治学,分析统一科学运动的政治蕴含。纽拉特对于科学与政治的基本规划至少包含了:科学与政治是同构的;科学应作为中立的工具服务于人类福祉;科学可以为民主政治提供样板。统一科学运动在推进科学民主化、对抗极权主义、倡导自由主义政治对话方面具有积极意义。这些科学政治学思想对后世的科学哲学及STS的很多研究方向有重要的预见性。
Recent scholarship resuscitates the history and philosophy of a ＇left wing＇ in the Vienna Circle, offering acounterhistory to the conventional image of analytic philosophy as politic ally conformist.In order to have a deeper understanding of the Left Vienna Circle,we need to rediscover Neu- rath＇s politics of science,and analyze the political implication of the Unity of Science Movement.Neurath＇s understanding of science and politics in- eludes at least three aspects： science and politics are isomorphic; science should serve as a neutral tool for human well-being; science can provide a model for democracy. Unity of Science Movement has positive significance in promoting the democratization of science, against totalitarianism, advo- cating liberal political dialogue. These thinking from the polities of science has important predictability on the later research of philosophy of scienceand STS.
